New Treads & Installation
With this renovation, we added a relatively new style of vinyl plank treads and risers to the stairs. These quality treads don’t require a typical “lapping” stair nose, which presents a tripping hazard when installing vinyl plank on steps. The guys at L&L know how to do quality work, and the attention to detail required for this job wasn’t an issue for them.
Building a New Bar
Along with new flooring and paint, we also added a small bar area in one of the corners. It was almost an afterthought, but such a great addition to this beautiful basement. Two of our finest finishers installed the base cabinets, granite counter, sink and backsplash. The upper cabinets and the “island” were already present in the basement. Our guys were then able to flawlessly blend these features together to create a nice wet bar space! It is even equipped with a mini fridge that is tucked in nicely to the right of the sink.
The homeowner is planning to turn this area into a theatre space. We have our popcorn ready for movie night…
